Elveţienii votează luna viitoare dacă vor avea cel mai mare salariu minim pe economie din lume
“Nu ne-am permis să-l mai plătim”, a declarat Eicher.Angajatul la care a fost nevoită să renunţe primea un salariu de 3.500 de franci elveţieni (2.881 de euro) pe lună. Acum Eicher trebuie să se descurce singură, lucrând 10 ore pe zi, 6 zile pe săptămână, iar posibilitatea de a angaja un ajutor pe care să îl plătească cu un salariu mai mic va dispărea în momentul în care se va aproba proiectul de lege.
“Bineînţeles că înţeleg nevoia oamenilor de a câştiga mai mulţi bani, dar nu toată lumea valorează 4.000 de franci elveţieni. Aici în Elveţia, suntem oricum destul de bogaţi”, a mai spus proprietara magazinului.Propunerea vine din partea sindicatelor muncitoreşti din Elveţia, care susţin că nivelul salariilor trebuie reflectat în preţurile existente în ţară, unele dintre cele mai mari la nivel global. Un sondaj al institutului de cercetare gfs.bern publicat pe 11 aprilie semnalează că 52% dintre alegători vor vota împotrivă, în timp o cercetare sociologică similară realizată de institutul Leger, a arătat un procent similar care ar vota pentru. Aproximativ 10% din angajaţii cu normă întreagă din Elveţia câştigă un salariu brut mai mic de 4.000 de fraci elveţieni (3.293 de euro), potrivit unor rapoarte statistice din 2010. Ajustat la nivelul puterii de cumpărare, salariul minim propus va ajunge la valoarea de 10,12 euro pe oră, ceea ce înseamnă o remuneraţie mai mare decât cea din Luxemburg şi Franţa – 7,66 euro, sau Australia – 7.37 euro, conform datelor publicate în 2012 de Organizaţia pentru Cooperare şi Dezvoltare Economică.
