Центробанк Австралии оставил ставку межбанковского кредита на уровне в 2,5%
Ожидается, что уровень инфляции в ближайшие два года не будет превышать прогнозируемых величин - 2-3%. В таких условиях мы решили, что наиболее разумным будет период стабильности в отношении учетной ставки, - заявил Стивенс, комментируя решение.В начале 2013 года ставка межбанковского кредита в Австралии составляла 3,0%, и Центробанк дважды - в мае и августе прошлого года - понижал ее на четверть пункта, доведя до уровня 2,5% - самого низкого за последние 60 лет. 6 мая Национальное бюро статистики сообщило о значительном снижении внешнеторгового профицита Австралии, составившего в марте 731 млн долларов (на 42% меньше февральского показателя).
