Vizită fiscală - reprezintă un instrument de administrare fiscală cu scop de asigurare a conformării voluntare prin acordarea consultațiilor, analiza activităţii, acumularea unor date despre activitatea contribuabilului.

Instanța de judecată nu poate obliga SFS să efectueze control fiscal. Practica judiciară
Caz: Persoana fizică X a depus o plângere la Serviciul Fiscal de Stat privind pretinse încălcări ale persoanei juridice Y, solicitând efectuarea în privința acesteia a unui control fiscal. În legătură cu aspectele sesizate , SFS a efectuat o vizită fiscală la persoana juridică. Nefiind de acord cu acțiunile SFS, persoana fizică s-a adresat în instanța de judecată cu solicitarea de a obliga SFS să efectueze control fiscal.

Pentru a asigura o administrare fiscală mai eficientă, dar și pentru a limita interacțiunea dintre autoritatea fiscală și contribuabil pentru identificarea unor date de ordin general aferente activității acestuia, va putea fi utilizat procedeul fiscal Chestionarul contribuabilului.
