Cu începere de la 1 ianuarie 2012 vor fi puse în aplicare amendamentele la Codul fiscal aprobate în această primăvară şi care au menirea de a permite organelor fiscale să utilizeze, în caz de necesitate, metode şi surse indirecte în vederea estimării obligaţiilor fiscale ale persoanelor juridice şi fizice. Deşi, nu este o normă nouă în practica internaţională în domeniul fiscal, pentru Republica Moldova această prevedere legislativă va trebui să creeze un bun prilej pentru a permite organelor fiscale să administreze mai eficient colectarea impozitului pe venit al persoanelor juridice şi fizice.
