PE a respins, miercuri, tăierile efectuate de Consiliu la bugetul UE pe 2015, motivând că statele membre trebuie să-şi susţină angajamentele politice cu bani, să încurajeze creşterea economică şi numărul locurilor de muncă şi să ducă la îndeplinire politica externă a Uniunii. Faţă de propunerea Consiliului, Parlamentul European a crescut suma pentru creditele de angajament la 146,380 miliarde de euro şi la 146,416 miliarde de euro pentru creditele de plată.
Este al doilea cel mai mic stat independent ca mărime din lume şi locul în care se găseşte cel mai mare număr de milionari pe cap de locuitor. Este vorba despre Monaco. Locuitorii din Monaco nu plătesc taxe la stat şi aici nu există șomaj.
