Din 1 ianuarie 2020, sunt puse în aplicare o serie de legi, prin care au fost operate modificări asupra Codului fiscal (CF): — Legea nr.171 din 19.12.2019; — Legea nr.170 din 19.12.20191; — Legea nr.122 din 16.08.2019; — Legea nr.115 din 15.08.2019. Necesitatea de modificare a CF derivă din necesitatea perfecţionării şi ajustării legislaţiei fiscale la evoluţia proceselor economice şi sociale, precum şi din necesitatea asigurării veniturilor bugetare necesare acoperirii cheltuielilor.
