The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova

(AmCham Moldova) is a non-governmental non-profit organization, founded on September 4, 2006. As a member of the international network of 125 AmChams worldwide, AmCham Moldova connects businesses and business leaders to share the common goal of bringing the entrepreneurial spirit and the cultures of Moldova and the United States closer together.

AmCham Moldova`s membership, currently encountering 80 members, is composed of a diverse spectrum of businesses, from large foreign investors to small goods and service providers that operate within Moldova, as well as Moldovan companies of all sizes that are pursuing trade with the United States.

Mission
The Mission of AmCham Moldova is to promote American trade and investment in Moldova and to work with the Moldovan government and business leaders to foster a more favorable business climate in Moldova for foreign trade and investment.

В конце марта 2012 г. Министерство финансов предложило бизнес-сообществу рассмотреть проект документа «Направления налоговой и таможенной политики на среднесрочный период 2013 – 2015 гг.» («Obiectivele politicii fiscale şi vamale pe termenul mediu 2013 – 2015»). Во вводной части проекта приведены следующие приоритетные задачи: (1) обеспечение равных, стабильных и прозрачных налоговых правил (asigurarea echităţii, stabilităţii şi transparenţei fiscale); (2) оптимизация налогового бремени (optimizarea presiunii fiscale); (3) стабилизация и упрощение налогового законодательства (stabilizarea şi simplificarea legislaţiei fiscale); (4) гармонизация базовых принципов национального законодательства с таковыми в ЕС (armonizarea principiilor puse la baza legislaţiei fiscale naţionale cu cea comunitară). Бизнес-сообщество всецело поддерживает эти приоритеты.
