На шесть строчек в рейтинге экономической свободы опустилась Молдова, заняв 102-е место среди 159 стран мира. По данным ежегодного исследования Канадского института Фрейзера «Экономическая свобода в мире — 2017» (Economic Freedom of the World-2017), индекс экономической свободы Молдовы, рассчитанный на основе данных за 2015 г., составляет 6,56 балла (10 – наилучшая оценка).
Volumul exporturilor moldovenești în ianuarie-august 2017 a crescut cu 15,2% față de perioada similară din 2016, până la $1 mld. 427,9 mil. Potrivit datelor Biroului Național de Statistică, exportul mărfurilor autohtone a însumat în 8 luni din 2017 $913,4 mil. (64% din volumul total), în creștere cu 16,9% față de perioada similară din anul precedent.

Guvernul Republicii Moldova a desemnat 20 de antreprenori din țară câștigători ai Concursului Național „Cel mai bun antreprenor din sectorul IMM", ediția a XII-a, organizat de către Ministerul Economiei și Infrastructurii în colaborare cu Organizația pentru Dezvoltarea Întreprinderilor Mici și Mijlocii și partenerii de dezvoltare. Он вступает в силу и применяется в случае представления Декларации НДС за налоговые периоды начиная с октября 2017 г.

Potrivit datelor bursei Lara, în septembrie 2017 costul 1 m.p. în apartamente cu o cameră la Botanica era de 523-603 euro; la Buiucani – 550-566 euro; în Centru – 573-636 euro; la Ciocana – 478-576 euro; la Râșcani – 565-598 euro.
