В 2011 году Организация по публичному надзору и стандартам учета и аудита — Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (POA) – получила в Турции статус официального разработчика стандартов. Эта структура публикует сегодня турецкие национальные стандарты, которые по причине своей схожести с МСФО имеют аббревиатуру “TFRS”; она же определяет области применения этих стандартов.
