Cine muncește mai mult în Republica Moldova

Populația din Republica Moldova este pe bună dreptate una muncitoare - acest lucru este confirmat și de datele statistice. Cei mai mulți moldoveni lucrează săptămânal 40 de ore și mai mult. Astfel, din 1,2 milioane de persoane ocupate înregistrate anul trecut, aproape 64% au un program de lucru de 40 și peste 40 de ore. În mediul urban, populația care lucrează 40 de ore și mai mult este mai mare în raport cu cea din mediul rural. Astfel, din cele aproximativ 550 de mii de persoane ocupate de la orașe, doar 132 de mii lucrează mai puțin de 40 de ore. În mediul rural, populația ocupată înregistrată în anul 2013 a constituit 622 de mii de persoane, dintre care aproape jumătate lucrează sub 40 de ore săptămânal. Dacă este să dezagregăm cifrele și pe criteriul de gen, atunci se remarcă că numărul bărbaților care lucrează săptămânal 40 de ore și mai mult este mai mare decât cel al femeilor. 70% din populația ocupată de gen masculin are un astfel de program de lucru, în timp ce în rândul femeilor ponderea este de 58%. Cei mai mulți dintre angajații ce au program de 40 și peste 40 de ore de muncă lucrează în comerț, domeniul hotelier și restaurante, fiind urmați de angajații din administrația publică, învățământ, sănătate și asistență socială. Potrivit Codului Muncii al Republicii Moldova, durata normală a timpului de muncă al salariaţilor din unităţi nu poate depăşi 40 de ore pe săptămână sau 8 ore pe zi într-o săptămâmă lucrătoare de 5 zile. Pentru anumite genuri de activitate, unităţi sau profesii se poate stabili, prin convenţie colectivă, o durată zilnică a timpului de muncă de 12 ore, urmată de o perioadă de repaus de cel puţin 24 de ore. Potrivit legislației europene, durata medie a timpului săptămânal de lucru, inclusiv orele suplimentare, nu trebuie să depăşească 48 de ore. Angajaţii trebuie să beneficieze de o perioadă de odihnă de cel puţin 11 ore consecutive pe zi. În plus, pentru 7 zile lucrate, angajaţii au dreptul la cel puţin 24 de ore de odihnă
