Numărul cardurilor bancare emise în Moldova a ajuns la 1,386 mil.

Pentru aproape fiecare a doua persoană din Republica Moldova este câte un card bancar. Cel puțin asta arată datele Băncii Naționale a Moldovei cu referire la situația de la finele lunii iunie, anul curent. La finalul primului semestru, numărul cardurilor bancare în circulație era de 1,386 mil. De la începutul anului au fost emise 134,438 de mii de carduri. Totodată, numărul cardurilor bancare retrase din circulație a crescut cu aproape 25% - de la 92 459 până la 115 348 de unități. Datele BNM arată că la sfîrșitul lunii iunie 2016, în Moldova rețeaua de recepționare a cardurilor bancare a atins 14 723 de instalații speciale, cu aproape 10,6% mai mult față de aceeași perioadă a anului trecut. Atunci în țară funcționau 13 659 terminale POS, 52 imprintere și 1 012 bancomate.
