Volumul transportului de mărfuri în ianuarie-iulie 2016 s-a redus cu 11,7% faţă de aceeaşi perioadă din 2015, până la 6 mil. 506 mii tone

Potrivit Biroului Naţional de Statistică, în luna iulie 2016 întreprinderile de transport feroviar, auto, fluvial şi aerian au transportat 1 mil. 177,4 mii tone de mărfuri, cu 8,1% mai mult faţă de luna precedentă şi cu 10,9% mai puţin în raport cu luna iulie 2015. Parcursul mărfurilor în luna iulie 2016 a totalizat 318,1 mil. tone-km, cu 0,3% mai mult faţă de luna iunie 2016 şi cu 7,3% mai puţin comparativ cu luna corespunzătoare din anul 2015. În ianuarie-iulie 2016, întreprinderile de transport auto au transportat 4 mil. 727,6 mii tone de mărfuri, volum mai mic faţă de cel realizat în perioada corespunzătoare din anul 2015 cu 1,3%. Ponderi considerabile în volumul total de mărfuri transportate cu transportul auto revin întreprinderilor din municipiile Chişinău (45,7%) şi Bălţi (7,4%), raioanele: Rezina (11,3%), Anenii-Noi (5,3%), Nisporeni (4,3%), Străşeni şi Sîngerei (câte 3,1%), Orhei (2,9%), Ialoveni (2,8%), etc. Cu mijloacele de transport feroviar în ianuarie-iulie 2016 au fost transportate 1 mil. 706,7 mii tone de mărfuri, sau cu 31,7% mai puţin faţă de în aceeaşi perioadă din anul 2015. În structura mărfurilor încărcate în vagoane la staţiile de cale ferată din ţară ponderi mai mari s-au înregistrat la următoarele grupe de mărfuri: metale feroase şi fier vechi - 22,9% (în ianuarie-iulie 2015 - 10,7%), cereale şi produse de panificaţie - 18,5% (în ianuarie-iulie 2015 - 38,0%), materiale de construcţie şi ciment - 11,6% (în ianuarie-iulie 2015 - 8,8%), petrol şi produse petroliere - 9,6% (în ianuarie-iulie 2015 - 2,1%). Transportul aerian de mărfuri a cuprins 0,3 mii tone, în scădere cu 19,5% faţă de perioada similară din 2015, iar cu cel fluvial – 71,4 mii tone, cu 10,9% mai puţin decât în 7 luni din 2015.
