Începând cu 1 ianuarie 2025, Codul fiscal (CF) prevede modalitatea simplificată de efectuare a controlului fiscal la persoanele fizice cetățeni în corespundere cu prevederile art. 2151. Norma dată a fost introdusă în CF prin Legea nr. 214/2024 pentru modificarea unor acte normative (ce vizează politica bugetar-fiscală şi vamală), în vederea optimizării proceselor de efectuare a controlului fiscal simplificat la oficiul Serviciului Fiscal de Stat.
