Asociația Internațională pentru Dezvoltare va oferi suport pentru dezvoltarea agriculturii în Republica Moldova

Parlamentul a aprobat în lectură finală proiectul legii privind ratifcarea Acordului de finanțare dintre Republica Moldova și Asociația Internațională pentru Dezvoltare în vederea realizării proiectului Agricultura Competitivă, semnat la 8 iulie 2016. Acordul prevede alocarea a unui credit în sumă de 7,1 mil. DST (drepturi speciale de trageri), echivalent a $10 mil., destinat finanțării Proiectului Agricultura Competitivă în Republica Moldova, a menționat viceministrul agriculturii și industriei alimentare, Iurie Ușurelu. Proiectul își propune sporirea competitivității sectorului agroalimentar, facilitarea accesului producătorilor agricoli la mai multe piețe de desfacere, precum și modernizarea sistemului de management al siguranței alimentelor. Acordul de finanțare va oferi suport financiar pentru realizarea celor cinci component ale proiectului și anume: consolidarea managementului de siguranță a alimentelor, îmbunătățirea potențialului de acces la piețe, sporirea productivității terenurilor prin intermediul managamentului durabil al terenurilor, managementul proiectului și compensații pentru susținerea vânzărilor. Resursele financiare prevăzute în accord vor fi investite în dezvoltarea domeniilor horticol, apicol, colectarea și procesarea laptelui, reabilitarea fîșiilor de protecție anti-eroziune, compensarea pierderilor fermierilor ce au avut de suferit în urma calamităților naturale etc. Proiectul de susținere a agriculturii contribuie la realizarea Strategiei Naționale Moldova 2020, care își propune creșterea competitivității produselor agricole moldovenești la nivelul celor produse în UE. Experţii susțin că creșterea competitivității produselor agricole poate avea loc doar prin creșterea permanentă a productivității, utilizarea noilor tehnologii, dezvoltarea durabilă a zonelor rurale, dar și prin ridicarea nivelului calității produselor propuse consumatorului. Termenul de implementare a Acordului de finanțare este de până la 30 iunie 2019.
