Autoritățile publice locale vor dispune de 5 mil. euro finanțare pentru diverse activități

Executivul a aprobat Proiectul de lege pentru ratificarea Acordului de finanţare pentru Programul transnaţional Dunărea 2014-2020 dintre Guvernul Republicii Moldova, Uniunea Europeană şi Ministerul Economiei Naţionale al Ungariei, semnat la Chişinău, la 15 decembrie 2016. Beneficiarii din Moldova vor dispune de o sumă de 5 mil. euro pentru finanțarea activităților. Eligibili pentru asistență sunt atât autoritățile publice locale, cât și cele naționale, organizațiile neguvernamentale, instituțiile educaționale. Activitățile ce urmează a fi finanțate țin de promovarea inovației, a transferului de cunoștințe și de susținere a spiritului antreprenorial în regiunea Dunării, sporirea eficienței energetice, conservarea patrimoniului natural și cultural, dezvoltarea unor sisteme de transport sigure și durabile. Vor fi sprijinite și activitățile privind punerea în aplicare a Strategiei UE pentru regiunea Dunării. Din cele 5 mil. euro oferite Moldovei 4,5 mil. euro sunt destinate finanțării proiectelor, iar 0,5 mil. euro sunt cheltuieli de asistență tehnică. Acordul prevede o contribuție de 15 la sută din partea beneficiarilor care vor realiza proiectele respective. Valoarea totală a Programul este de 268,78 mil. euro şi este implementat de Uniunea Europeană prin Instrumentul European de Vecinătate. Participarea la Program creează premisele necesare pentru aprofundarea relaţiilor de colaborare dintre instituţiile din Republica Moldova şi cele din ţările din regiunea Dunării, între care: Austria, Bulgaria, Ungaria, România, Republica Cehă, Germania, Serbia, Muntenegru şi altele.
