Banca Transilvania solicită BNM aprobarea achiziţei acţiunilor Victoriabank

Banca Transilvania intenționează să achiziționeze un pachet inițial de peste 39% din Victoriabank, a treia bancă în topul băncilor din Republica Moldova. BT a solicitat aprobarea achiziției din partea autorităților de reglementare bancară și autorităților relevante din România și Republica Moldova. Din 2007, este prima dată când un investitor bancar străin intră pe piața din Republica Moldova, anunță Banca Transilvania într-un comunicat de presă. Ca urmare a investiției avute în vedere, Banca Transilvania și BERD vor deține împreună pachetul majoritar în Victoriabank. În conformitate cu legislația în vigoare, acestea vor face o ofertă pentru achiziționarea celorlalte acțiuni. Acționar minoritar, BERD și-a majorat participația la 27,5% anul trecut, în încercarea de a restabili o guvernanță corporativă eficientă și de a atrage investitori strategici puternici în Victoriabank. Banca Transilvania este a doua bancă din România, în funcție de active, BERD fiind acționar al acesteia din 2001.
