BEI va acorda RM 41 mil. euro pentru construcţia gazoductului Ungheni–Chişinău

Cabinetul de miniştri a aprobat semnarea Acordului de împrumut dintre Republica Moldova şi Banca Europeană de Investiţii (BEI) pentru realizarea proiectului „Construcţia Conductei de Transport Gaze pe direcţia Ungheni–Chişinău”. Proiectul reprezintă cea de-a doua fază de asigurare a interconexiunii sistemului de transport de gaze naturale din România cu cel din Moldova şi vine să asigure ţara noastră cu o sursă alternativă de energie. Conform documentului, BEI urmează să acorde Guvernului RM un împrumut de 41 mil. euro, care vor fi alocate companiei VestMoldTransGaz, pentru construcţia conductei. A fost instituită şi Comisia responsabilă de efectuarea cercetărilor necesare pentru a stabili traseul exact de construcţie a conductei şi de asigurarea condiţiilor necesare pentru lansarea proiectului. Conform calculelor provizorii, costurile totale pentru construcţia liniei magistrale a conductei de gaze Ungheni-Chişinău sunt estimate la aproximativ 113 mil. euro. Adiţional la împrumutul acordat prin intermediul BEI, Uniunea Europeană va mai aloca RM 10 mil. euro sub formă de grant, pentru a compensa contribuţia financiară iniţială, asigurată din bugetul de stat, şi peste 20 mil. euro în cea de-a doua fază de implementare a proiectului.
