BERD și BEI nu vor finanţa proiectul de reabilitare a rețelelor de apă și canalizare până nu vor fi ajustate tarifele

Până nu se vor ajusta tarifele la apă, Banca europeană pentru reconstrucţie şi dezvoltare și Banca europeană pentru investiţii nu vor continua finanțarea proiectului de reabilitare a rețelelor de apă și canalizare din capitală. Astfel, în prezent Î. M. Apă-Canal Chișinău este în căutarea unui credit de la o bancă comercială autohtonă, pentru a asigura în continuare mersul proiectului. Subiectul a fost discutat azi în cadrul ședinței Primăriei Chișinău. Potrivit primarului Dorin Chirtoacă, negocierile privind ajustarea tarifelor la apă au loc între Apă-Canal și ANRE deja de un an de zile și nu se poate ajunge la un numitor comun pentru a putea fi continuată finanțarea. Am convenit cu BERD și BEI să se contracteze un credit local până se rezolvă problema cu ANRE, sperăm ca până la finele anului să avem o poziție clară în această privință, a declarat primarul de Chișinău, menționând că tarifele la apă ar putea crește cu circa 1,5 lei. Reprezentanții Apă-Canal susțin că au încercat deja să obțină un credit de la o bancă locală, însă fără succes. În prezent aceștia negociază cu o altă bancă, în speranța contractării unui credit, iar după ce băncile europene vor continua finanțarea, banii vor fi întorși băncii locale. Primarul susține că va face tot posibilul ca proiectul să fie continuat. Eu lepăd lucrul și mă duc la Apă-Canal, dar nu las să eșueze proiectul, a spus edilul, atenționând conducerea Apă-Canal, în acest context, să nu ezite să prezinte la Primărie rapoarte privind cheltuielile pe care le face începând cu radiere și creioane și până la tehnică. Municipalitatea ar putea să rateze un credit de circa 65 mil. euro din partea BERD și BEI, în cazul în care negocierile dintre ANRE și Apă-Canal vor eșua, or, ajustarea tarifului la apă este una dintre cele mai importante condiții de acordare a finanțării.
