BERD va acorda 10 mil. euro pentru realizarea proiectului “Apă Nord Moldova”

Cabinetul de miniștri a aprobat ratificarea Acordului de grant dintre Republica Moldova și Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucție și Dezvoltare cu suportul căruia va fi realizat proiectul “Apă Nord Moldova”. Proiectul prevede finanţarea lucrărilor de modernizare a rețelelor de alimentare cu apă a localităților din nordul Republicii Moldova. Grantul are o valoare de 10 mil. euro ce reprezintă o treime din valoarea totală a proiectului, și de pe urma căruia vor beneficia circa 400 mii de cetățeni din raioanele Soroca, Drochia, Florești, Rîșcani, Sîngerei și din municipiul Bălți. Implementarea lui va asigura accesul locuitorilor din nordul țării la apă potabilă sigură, respectiv va contribui la îmbunătățirea calității vieții acestora şi la protecția mediului înconjurător. Tot în vederea protecției mediului înconjurător, a fost aprobată și Strategia națională privind managementul deșeurilor radioactive pentru anii 2017-2026. Documentul vine să asigure condiții favorabile pentru o activitate radiologică sigură și conformă cu standardele internaționale. Strategia stabilește obiectivele, direcțiile de acțiune și măsurile specifice necesare pentru protecția populației și a mediului înconjurător de efectele nocive ale surselor radioactive, pe durata în care acestea reprezintă un pericol radiologic. În vederea implementării Strategiei vor fi alocate atît resurse financiare din bugetul de stat, cît și din asistența financiară externă, acordată țării noastre în cadrul proiectelor de cooperare cu Agenţia Internaţională pentru Energia Atomică, a altor organizaţii internaţionale, precum şi din partea unor state interesate în fortificarea capacităţii de management al deşeurilor radioactive din RM.
