BNM a menţinut rata de bază de refinanţare la nivel de 10% annual

Decizia a fost luată de comitetul executiv al Băncii Naţionale, la şedinţa de joi, 25 august. De asemenea, BNM a menţinut ratele pentru creditele şi depozitele overnight la nivel de 13% şi, respectiv, 7% anual. BNM a păstrat şi norma rezervelor obligatorii pentru mijloacele atrase de bănci în valută convertibilă la nivel de 14% de la baza de calcul, dar şi norma rezervelor obligatorii în lei la nivel de 35% din baza de calcul. Până acum, BNM a diminuat rata de bază de refinanţare timp de cinci luni consecutiv, după ce a menţinut-o neschimbată o jumătate de an la nivel de 19% anual. Luna trecută, BNM a redus rata de bază aplicată la principalele operaţiuni de politică monetară pe termen scurt cu 3 p.p., de la 13% la 10% anual. BNM a precizat că decizia de păstrare a ratei de bază vizează ancorarea anticipaţiilor inflaţioniste în contextul readucerii și menţinerii ratei inflaţiei în proximitatea ţintei de 5 la sută pe termen mediu, cu o posibilă deviere de ± 1.5 puncte procentuale. Calibrarea graduală a conduitei politicii monetare, susținută de așteptările cu privire la reducerea ratei inflației, urmărește asigurarea condițiilor monetare reale adecvate pentru stimularea creditării și economisirii, precum și pentru impulsionarea cererii interne, alături de adaptarea în continuare a mediului economic intern la volatilitățile și incertitudinile din mediul extern. Următoarea şedinţă a comitetului executiv al BNM va avea loc pe 29 septembrie.
