Будет реализован проект «Адаптация к изменениям климата»

Всемирный банк утвердил финансирование для Молдовы в размере $27,2 млн для реализации проекта «Адаптация к изменениям климата». По сообщению представительства ВБ в Молдове, средства будут направлены на защиту фермерских хозяйств, лесов и пастбищ от изменений климата в особо уязвимых районах, а также для укрепления национальных систем управления стихийными бедствиями. Проект окажет поддержку Национальному плану действий по реализации Стратегии адаптации к изменению климата - 2020. Директор ВБ по Молдове Алекс Кремер отметил, что частые стихийные бедствия, аналогичные тем, которые произошли 21 апреля, и их существенное влияние на экономику Молдовы и на людей требуют четких действий по укреплению способности страны адаптироваться к климатическим изменениям. С момента присоединения Молдовы к ВБ в 1992 г., нашей стране было выделено более $1 млрд реализации в порядка 60 проектов. Портфель ВБ в Молдове в настоящее время включает 8 активных проектов с обязательствами на общую сумму более $333,3 млн. Область финансирования включает реформу регулирования и развития бизнеса, поддержку образования, здравоохранения, сельского хозяйства, энергетику, развитие бизнеса, местных дорог, социального обеспечения, охрану окружающей среды и др. Портфель обязательств Международной финансовой корпорации в Молдове составляет $53,8 млн ($50,9 млн находятся в обращении). Он на 95% состоит из кредитов и 5% - собственного капитала. Многостороннее агентство по инвестиционным гарантиям предоставило гарантий на $95 млн. Оба учреждения являются членами Группы Всемирного банка.
