Colaboratorii vamali vor avea un nou Cod de etică şi conduită

Guvernul a aprobat Codului de etică și conduită a colaboratorului vamal. Noul Cod a fost elaborat în urma întreprinderii de către Serviciul Vamal a unor măsuri pentru realizarea acțiunilor prevăzute în Strategia națională anticorupție pentru anii 2011-2015. Serviciul Vamal a organizat o misiune în cadrul proiectului de asistență în domeniul reformei privind integritatea, cu participarea experților EUBAM, unde, în mod prioritar, s-a discutat asupra Codului de conduită a colaboratorului vamal, fiind propuse mai multe aspecte ce urmau a fi modificate. Astfel, Codul stabilește clar care sunt principiile fundamentale de conduită, normele obligatorii de etică profesională și disciplina de serviciu în organele vamale. În codul respectiv se pune un accent deosebit pe integritatea colaboratorilor vamali. „În vederea ajustării Codului la standardele internaţionale pentru perfecţionarea cadrului normativ, asigurarea prestării unor servicii de calitate, bazate pe etică şi integritate organizaţională, conştientizarea de către colaboratorul vamal a resposabilităţii îndeplinirii atribuţiilor şi a respectării disciplinei de serviciu, în vederea asigurării securităţii economice a statului, combaterii încălcărilor vamale, considerăm oportun aprobarea acestui proiect”, a menţionat viceministrul finanţelor, Veronica Vragaleva. Actualul Cod de conduită al colaboratorului vamal a fost aprobat în iulie 2009.
