Comerţul din cadrul GUUAM va fi monitorizat

Va fi creat un organ de lucru care va coordona acţiunile părţilor la Acordul privind crearea zonei de comerţ liber între statele member GUUAM din 20 iulie 2002. Guvernul a susţinut Hotărârea cu privire la ratificarea Protocolului pentru aprobarea Regulamentului privind crearea respectivului organ. Este vorba de crearea unui cadru instituţional care va supraveghea modul în care se implementează Acordul de comerţ liber în cadrul GUUAM şi va înainta un şir de propuneri de modificare şi îmbunătăţire a acestuia şi nu presupune cheltuieli suplimentare, a specificat Ministerul Economiei, Octavian Calmâc. Conform Protocolului ratificat, va fi aprobat un Regulament prin care va fi instituit un organ de lucru special, cu scopul supravegherii aplicării Acordului menţionat, elaborării propunerilor de dezvoltare a cooperării comercial-economice, coordonării politicilor economice, soluţionării problemelor din comerţul reciproc ale părţilor semnatare etc. Organul de lucru se va întruni o dată pe an, precum şi la caz de necesitate. Menţionăm că Acordul de comerţ liber în cadrul GUUAM a fost semnat la 20 iulie 2002 şi are drept obiectiv eliminarea barierelor tehnice în comerţ, dezvoltare economică a statelor GUAM, precum şi formarea unui potenţial economic pentru majorarea competitivităţii economiilor acestora pe pieţele externe.
