Contractul cu Gazprom, prelungit pentru trei ani

Contractele cu Gazprom, principalul furnizor de gaze naturale pentru Republica Moldova, vor fi prelungite pentru o perioadă de trei ani. Subiectul a fost abordat în cadrul Comisiei mixte moldo-ruse ce a avut loc la Moscova în luna noiembrie. Am cerut această prelungire pentru că avem puțin timp până la finele anului. În cadrul acestor discuții am solicitat extinderea pe o perioadă medie de timp, fără a modifica normele legale referitoare acestor contracte. Atât pe partea de tranzit, cât și pe partea de import de gaze naturale în Republica Moldova, - a declarat Ministrul Economiei Octavian Calmâc. În paralele sunt duse tratative cu experți din Federația Rusă, inclusiv din partea Gazprom, pentru a discuta setul de problematici pe dimensiunile datoria istorică a Republicii Moldova, inclusiv a raioanelor de Est, datoria curentă acumulată pe marginea devierilor financiare. Se discută şi semnarea unui contract la nivel guvernamental, între Moldova și Federația Rusă, care ar reglementa toate aceste situații. La etapa curentă noi am reușit doar primul element care ține de prelungirea contractului existent pentru o perioadă medie, la condițiile precedente care au fost convenite inițial în 2006 și care sunt favorabile Republicii Moldova pentru că conjunctura internațională și prețurile care au fost stabilite la acele produse energetice duce la faptul ca prețul de import al gazelor naturale să fie în descreștere, a mai spus Octavian Calmâc. La începutul săptămânii curente Guvernul Republicii Moldova și BERD, BEI și UE au semnat acordul cu privire la finanțarea lucrărilor de construcție a gazoductului de la Ungheni la Chișinău. Acest proiect este realizat cu scopul de a diminua gradul de dependență energetică a Republicii Moldova.
