Experţii FMI au apreciat pozitiv evoluţia economiei moldovenești

Prim-ministrul Iurie Leancă a avut astăzi o întrevedere cu membrii echipei de experţi ai Fondului Monetar Internaţional (FMI) condusă de Max Alier care a realizat, în cadrul unei misiuni desfăşurate în perioada 22-30 aprilie 2014, o analiză privind situaţia macroeconomică a Republicii Moldova şi perspectivele de dezvoltare în perioada următoare. Potrivit lui Max Alier, experții FMI au constatat că economia Republicii Moldova și-a revenit după seceta din 2012 şi a evoluat pozitiv în anul trecut, iar pentru anul 2014 FMI prognozează un ritm de creștere de 2¼ la sută. Şeful Misiunii FMI a mai remarcat menținerea țintei inflației, reducerea semnificativă a deficitului bugetar, menținerea datoriei publice la un nivel adecvat și existența rezervelor de protecție împotriva eventualelor șocuri externe. Au fost discutate riscurile care ar putea influenţa economia Republicii Moldova, inclusiv situația geopolitică în regiune, micșorarea volumului asistenței externe, reducerea volumului remitențelor. FMI a subliniat importanța promovării în continuare a reformelor în vederea asigurării stabilității macroeconomice.
Realizarea reformelor structurale, conform obiectivelor stabilite în Strategia Națională de Dezvoltare, este crucială pentru susținerea creșterii economice, a precizat Max Alier.
Totodată, misiunea FMI a recomandat necesitatea continuării procesului de realizare a politicii bugetar-fiscale, monetar-valutare și îmbunătățirea cadrului normativ din sectorul financiar. Prim-ministrul a apreciat dialogul constructiv desfăşurat pe durarta activităţii misiunii FMI şi a menţionat importanţa concluziilor şi recomandărilor experţilor pentru elaborarea politicilor macroeconomice.
Dialogul între experţii FMI şi instituţiile responsabile din ţara noastră ne ajută să înţelegem mai bine situaţia şi să stabilim acţiunile pentru perioada următoare, astfel încât să asigurăm stabilitatea financiar-economică şi dezvoltarea unui climat investiţional favorabil în Republica Moldova, a declarat şeful Guvernului moldovean.
Prima rundă de discuţii a Misiunii FMI, condusă de Max Alier, cu autorităţile Republicii Moldova în contextul procesului de monitorizare post-program a avut loc în perioada 18 septembrie -1 octombrie 2013, la Chişinău.
