Funcțiile Curții de Conturi ar putea fi extinse

Curtea de Conturi ar putea primi dreptul de a efectua controale de audit extern la companiile în care statul deține mai mult de 20 la sută din capitalul social. Un proiect de lege care prevede modificarea Legii Curții de Conturi a fost înregistrat în Parlament și urmează să ajungă pe masa deputaților. În prezent, Curtea de Conturi poate efectua auditul doar la întreprinderile în care statul are cotă de peste 50 la sută. Acest lucru a dus la imposibilitatea efectuării controalelor în multe companii notorii. În nota informativă la proiect se indică că doar în 2014, statul a pierdut aproape 900 de milioane de lei ca urmare a gestionării ineficiente a unor societăți în care deține între 20 și 50% din capitalul social. Deputații aduc exemplul companiei „Moldovagaz”, care nu a putut fi auditată de Curtea de Conturi pentru că statul are doar 35 la sută în capitalul social al întreprinderii, informează Realitatea TV. Nu s-a putut face un audit nici la Banca de Economii în perioada în care statul a fost acționar minoritar. Anume atunci s-au înregistrat fraudele în proporții mari în cadrul instituției financiare.
