IFAD continuă finanțarea proiectelor în agricultură în Moldova

Fondul Internațional pentru Dezvoltare Agricolă (IFAD) va continua să finanțeze proiectele în agricultură în Republica Moldova. Asigurarea vine din partea Dinei Saleh, manager de țară pentru Moldova, care a avut astăzi o întrevedere cu premierul Pavel Filip. În cadrul întâlnirii celor doi oficiali, a fost discutat un nou proiect comun, care urmează să fie implementat în două etape în perioada 2017- 2020. Este vorba despre Proiectul de Reziliență Rurală (PRR). La prima etapă, valoarea asistenței va fi de 24 milioane de dolari și va fi direcționată spre îmbunătățirea capacității de adaptare a micilor întreprinderi agricole la schimbările climatice, cu accent pe dezvoltarea afacerilor prin modernizarea lor şi extinderea accesului la finanțare și la piețe de desfacere. Reprezentanții IFAD au menţionat că Republica Moldova este un partener care foloseşte eficient asistenţa acordată de Fond, dar şi contribuie cu resurse proprii la realizarea proiectelor comune. Totodată, oficialii au abordat un șir de probleme de funcţionalitate cu care se confruntă în implementarea proiectelor în țara noastră, iar premierul a dat asigurări că Guvernul va întreprinde acțiunile necesare pentru a găsi soluţii la problemele enunţate. Agricultura este o ramură importantă, care trebuie să asigure securitatea alimentară a statului. Apreciem contribuția Fondului Internațional pentru Dezvoltare Agricolă, în special în dezvoltarea noilor tehnologii în agricultură și în susținerea tinerilor antreprenori, a spus Pavel Filip. Începând cu anul 2000, când a fost deschisă reperezentanța IFAD în țara noastră, Republica Moldova a beneficiat de finanțare în valoare de peste 100 de milioane de dolari pentru diverse proiecte în agricultură.
