În Transnistria a intrat în vigoare Legea Antitutun

Fumatul în locul publice a devenit un lux. În Transnistria a intrat în vigoare legea „Cu privire la protecția sănătății cetățenilor de efectul fumului de țigară şi consecințelor consumului de tutun”. Începînd cu 17 iulie fumatul în locurile publice nu numai că este declarat în afara legii, ci atrage aplicarea amenzii. În opinia specialiștilor, Legea Antitutun va permite să se diminueze accesibilitatea produselor de tutun, va micșora cererea la ele și va spori eficiența profilaxiei bolilor ce apar în urma consumului de tutun. Restricțiile asupra fumatului au fost introduse în locurile publice: pe teritoriul spitalelor, școlilor și instituțiilor de învățămînt superior, în oficiile și clădirile organelor administrative. Cei care nu fumează sînt bucuroși de noua lege. Legile antitutun sînt deja valabile în Rusia, Ucraina, Moldova, Belarus, Kazahstan și alte țări. Acum astfel de lege a apărut și în Transnistria. Ea stipulează, în primul rînd, responsabilitatea părinților, ai cărora copii consumă articole de tutungerie, implicarea acestora în procesul consumului de tutun și articole de tutungerie. În actul normativ deja au fost stabilite sumele amenzilor administrative. Răspunderea administrativă pentru consumul de tutun de către minori prevede în cazul vînzării acestora a articolelor de tutungerie o amendă de la 170 pînă la 250 de ruble. Amenda maximală în Codul cu privire la contravențiile administrative se prevede pentru sponsorizarea consumului tutunului de către persoanele juridice și atinge 17000 de ruble, a spus prim-viceministrul Justiției al RMN, Irina Barbaroș.
