Indemnizațiile pentru creșterea copilului pot fi modificate

Ministerul Muncii Protecției Sociale și Familiei propune modificarea legislației care prevede acordarea concediilor de maternitate și plata indemnizațiilor pentru creșterea copilului. Autoritățile vor să instituie o opțiune suplimentară pentru părinți la solicitarea indemnizațiilor, astfel încât în primul an de viață al copilului să poată obține mai mulți bani de la Casa Națională de Asigurări Sociale. Potrivit inițiativei legislative, care a fost propusă pentru consultări publice, părinții vor putea alege din două opțiuni: să primească o indemnizație pentru creșterea copilului până la vârsta de trei ani în mărime de 30% din salariu, așa cum este în prezent, sau să ridice în primul an o indemnizație în mărime de 60% din salariu, în cel de-al doilea an – o indemnizație de 30%, iar în al treilea an indemnizația nu va fi acordată. Opțiunea aleasă nu va putea fi modificată pe parcurs. La baza calculului va fi venitul mediu lunar realizat în ultimele 12 luni calendaristice premergătoare lunii nașterii copilului, venit din care au fost calculate și achitate contribuții individuale de asigurări sociale. Documentul mai prevede că de indemnizații pentru creșterea copilului vor putea beneficia, la cerere, unul dintre părinți, bunelul, bunica sau o rudă care se ocupă nemijlocit de îngrijirea copilului. În cazul copiilor gemeni, sau în cazul mai multor copii cu vârsta de până la trei ani, de indemnizații pentru creșterea copiilor vor beneficia concomitent ambii părinți sau alte două persoane asigurate care se ocupă de copii. Autoritățile mai intenționează să micșoreze cu un an perioada concediului acordat suplimentar neplătit pentru creșterea copilului, fiind inclusă limita de cinci ani. Dacă documentul va fi avizat pozitiv de Guvern și Parlament, schimbările propuse de Ministerul Muncii, Protecției Sociale și Familiei vor intra în vigoare la 1 ianuarie 2017 și nu se vor aplica indemnizațiilor stabilite până la această dată.
