Kroll continuă investigaţiile

Compania Kroll colectează materialele necesare pentru a alcătui o bază de dovezi ca să fie acceptate în orice jurisdicție străină pentru a demonstra paguba şi pentru a putea recupera fondurile delapidate din cele trei bănci, Banca de Economii, Unibank și Banca Socială, a informat într-o conferință de presă guvernatorul BNM Sergiu Cioclea. Cioclea a spus că este un lucru complicat și de anchetator, și de jurist. Această anchetă, precum a denumit-o, va fi trimisă în jurisdicțiile străine pentru ca acestea să confirme nu doar frauda, dar și să identifice beneficiarii prin analiza fluxurilor financiare. Cea ce va permite ulterior recuperarea banilor. Problema ar fi ca jurisdicțiile străine să răspundă acestei anchete. În acest sens el a menționat că BNM susține eforturile companiei Kroll printr-un dialog continuu cu reprezentanții băncilor centrale, din țările pe unde se consideră că s-ar fi ”mișcat” banii din Moldova. Avem câteva ( 2-3) jurisdicții care ne-au prezentat toată informația, a specificat guvernatorul BNM. În ce privește firmele offshore, Cioclea a recomandat jurnalștilor, atunci când abordează această temă, să fie mai ”nuanțați”. Dacă înregistrarea în offschore s-a făcut pentru a ascunde, a tăinui unele active, de exemplu, ca în cazul nostru, a unor sume de bani delapidate, atunci e clar care trebuie să fie atitudinea noastră. Dar dacă o afacere a fost înregistrată în offshore pentru că în țara respectivă nu poate fi înregistrată,sau condițiile de activitate nu corespund unor norme, aici atitudinea trebuie să fie alta, a mai spus Cioclea.
