Linia de cale ferată Basarabeasca-Berezino poate fi reabilitată

Linia de cale ferată Basarabeasca-Berezino ar putea fi reabilitată, iar trenurile de marfă din Republica Moldova ar putea ajunge până în portul Reni din Ucraina. Surse din cadrul Ministerului Transporturilor și infrastructurii Drumurilor au relatat că despre aceasta s-a discutat la întrevederea viceministrului Sergiu Bucataru cu directorul întreprinderii „Calea Ferată din Moldova” (CFM), Iurie Topală, Ambasadorul Ucrainei în Moldova, Ivan Gnatîșin, deputatul poporului din Ucraina, Anton Kisse, vicepreședintele Consiliului regional din Odesa, Iurii Dimcioglo, precum și consilierul pe probleme economice din cadrul Ambasadei Ucrainei, Valerii Kolomieţ. Părţile au subliniat necesitatea constituirii unor colaborări viabile cu partenerii europeni, în scop de a atrage noi volume de mărfuri pe cale ferată, care ar putea aduce beneficii atât Moldovei, cât şi Ucrainei. Linia de cale ferată Basarabeasca-Berezino a funcţionat până în anul 1999, însă ulterior aceasta a fost demontată din cauza lipsei fluxului de mărfuri. Segmentul de cale ferată era drumul direct din Moldova către porturile din Odessa. Lucrările de reabilitare urmau a fi începute în vara anului 2016. În total urmează a fi restabiliţi circa 20 km de cale ferată pe teritoriul Ucrainei şi 1,5 km pe teritoriul Moldovei. Iurie Topală, a spus anterior că segmentul de cale ferată pe teritoriul ţării poate fi reabilitat în decurs de 2-4 saptămâni.
