MAIA monitorizează situația creată de ninsori în agricultură

Comisia de monitorizare și documentare, creată la 20 aprilie 2017 în cadrul Ministerului Agriculturii, evaluează gradul de afectare a culturilor agricole, în baza informațiilor prezentate de către Direcțiile Raionale Agricultură și Alimentație. S-a constat că, la moment, în agricultură nu sunt pagube majore. În Centru-Nord nu s-au înregistrat temperaturi mai mici de 0 +1 grade Celsius, astfel culturile din zona respectivă nu vor fi afectate major. Zona Centru-Sud se confruntă cu o situație mai grea. Aici, în denivelări de terenuri agricole, s-au înregistrat temperaturi de până la -3 grade Celsius (Cahul, UTA Găgăuzia). Precipitații atmosferice sub formă de ninsoare s-au înregistrat în zona de Centru și Sud. În zona centrală au căzut mai multe precipitații, formând un strat de zăpadă de la 60-80 cm, în unele locuri chiar și 1 m, în timp ce în zona de Sud stratul de zăpadă a atins 50-60 cm grosime. În acest condiții, ar putea suferi plantațiile pomicole tinere, mai ales culturile de alun, a căror suprafață foliară este dezvoltată până la 40%. De asemenea, s-ar putea înregistra daune la plantațiile de cireș, vișin și cais. În unele zone din văi, plantațiile de nuc au înghețat. Din cauza zăpezii masive în câteva localități s-au identificat distrugeri de sere, construite necorespunzător.
