Marin Moloșag, consilier al guvernatorului BNM, va lucra la FMI

Fondul Monetar Internațional (FMI) l-a invitat pe Marin Moloșag, fost prim-viceguvernator al Băncii Naționale a Moldovei, consilier al actualului guvernator al BNM, să facă parte din echipa sa. Marin Moloșag va activa, începând cu data de 16 noiembrie 2016, în funcția de consilier pe termen lung la FMI și se va ocupa de implementarea politicii monetare și valutare pentru un grup format din șapte state din Africa de Est. Banca Națională a Moldovei a fost instituția în care m-am format sub aspect profesional și unde am avut onoarea să activez aproape 25 de ani. Consider că politica monetară din Republica Moldova, realizată de BNM, a avansat semnificativ în ultimii ani, contribuind astfel la asigurarea stabilității macroeconomice. Această experiență îmi va da posibilitatea să contribui la modernizarea cadrului de politică monetară și în alte țări, precizează Marin Moloșag. La rândul său, guvernatorul BNM, Sergiu Cioclea, își exprimă recunoștința și aprecierea pentru activitatea desfășurată de Marin Moloșag în cadrul BNM, de la crearea acesteia în anul 1991. Țin să-i mulțumesc lui Marin Moloșag pentru ajutorul și consilierea pe care mi le-a oferit la începutul mandatului meu, implicarea lui personală în reluarea discuțiilor cu FMI și negocierea programului recent aprobat, spune Sergiu Cioclea. Marin Moloșag are o bogată experiență în domeniul financiar-bancar. El și-a început cariera la BNM în anul 1992, în Direcția valută străină și activitate economică externă. În perioada 2002-2009, Marin Moloșag a deținut postul de viceguvernator al BNM responsabil de sfera operațiunilor bancare și relații externe, iar între luna decembrie 2009 și aprilie 2016 a fost prim-viceguvernator cu funcția de supraveghere a domeniilor politică monetară, asistență tehnică și financiară internațională și gestiunea relațiilor externe și integrare europeană. La 11 aprilie 2016, Marin Moloșag a fost numit în funcția de consilier al guvernatorului BNM pe probleme de strategie și dezvoltare.
