Moldova se pregăteşte de participare la Expo Dubai 2020

Țara noastră va participa la Expoziția Mondială „Expo Dubai 2020”, iar autoritatea națională responsabilă de organizarea participării Republicii Moldova va fi Centrul Internațional de Expoziţii “Moldexpo”. Ministerul Economiei și Infrastructurii propune spre consultare proiectul acţiunilor organizatorice pentru asigurarea participării Republicii Moldova la Expoziţia Mondială „Expo Dubai 2020”. Astfel, în document se menționează că, în conformitate cu regulamentul expoziției, fiecare stat participant trebuie să numească un comisar general. În calitate de Comisar General al Secţiunii Naţionale a Republicii Moldova se propune Directorul general al Centrului Internaţional de Expoziţii “Moldexpo” Arcadie Andronic. Acesta va fi responsabil de semnarea Contractului de participare, organizarea şi funcţionarea Standului Republicii Moldova la expoziţia respectivă, aprobarea devizului de cheltuieli etc. Cât privește costurile lucrărilor de construcție și amenajare, acestea vor fi precizate în conformitate cu documentația de proiect și deviz elaborate de Comitetul Organizatoric. Reamintim că Republica Moldova a fost invitată să participe la Expoziţia Mondială „Dubai 2020” în cadrul vizitei de lucru în Emiratele Arabe Unite efectuate de către Ministrul Economiei și Infrastructurii Octavian Calmâc. Pentru Republica Moldova participarea la acest eveniment reprezintă o oportunitate de evidenţiere pe plan global, promovare a valorilor culturale moldoveneşti, servind drept canal de comunicare pentru intensificarea schimburilor comercial-economice, culturale, ştiinţifice şi tehnologice, precum și posibilitatea de a prezenta atât potențialul său în sectoare precum agricultură, industrie, alte domenii prioritare, cât și o sursă de inspirație și transfer tehnologic pentru proiectele naționale în domeniile resurselor regenerabile și procesării alimentare, se menționează în proiect. Expo 2020 Dubai se va desfășura în perioada 20 octombrie 2020 – 10 aprilie 2021 și conform estimărilor organizatorilor va fi vizitată de circa 25 mil. de persoane, dintre care 70% vor fi vizitatori de peste hotarele țării gazdă. Republica Moldova a participat anterior la 3 expoziții mondiale: la Hanovra (Germania) în anul 2000, Shanghai (Republica Populară Chineză) în anul 2010 şi Milano (Italia) în anul 2015. Notă: Emiratele Arabe Unite au anunțat un program de granturi de $100 mil. pentru a finanța dezvoltarea, implementarea și promovarea proiectelor menite să îmbunătățească viața populației.
