Octavian Armașu, noul guvernator al BNM

Octavian Armașu are o nouă funcție – de guvernator al Băncii Naționale a Moldovei. Ieri Parlamentul l-a numit în această funcție, la propunerea speakerului Andrian Candu. Cred că experiența pe care o are domnul Armașu, inclusiv și cea de până la funcția guvernamentală, dar în special cea de ministru al Finanțelor, unde a colaborat cu Banca Națională, îl va ajuta să preia această funcție, a menționat președintele Parlamentului, în cadrul declarațiilor de presă de după ședința de ieri a Parlamentului. La rândul său, noul guvernator a menționat că este gata să continue reformele inițiate de predecesorul său. Preiau această funcție într-o dată simbolică, când leul moldovenesc a împlinit 25 de ani. Sper că această dată să fie de bun augur. Vin în această funcție când BNM este într-un proces foarte dinamic de implementare a reformelor care va trebui să le mențin și să le dezvolt mai departe. Perspectivele sunt mult mai bune decât acum trei ani, avem un sistem financiar-bancar mult mai stabil, mult mai instituționalizat și reglementat, ceea ce permite să reducem semnificativ riscurile unor crize, a menționat Octavian Armașu. Potrivit legii cu privire la Banca Națională a Moldovei, guvernatorul BNM este numit de Parlament, la propunerea președintelui Parlamentului, pe un termen de șapte ani.
