Prima tranşă de la FMI ar putea veni în Moldova pînă la finele anului

Republica Moldova în cadrul noului program cu Fondul Monetar Internațional (FMI) ar putea primi, pînă la sfîrșitul acestui an, prima tranșă în mărime de $25 mil. Informația a fost comunicată de guvernatorul BNM, Sergiu Cioclea, care a menționat că pentru țara noastră este mai important nu atît acest aspect, ci faptul că acordul cu FMI va debloca finanțarea externă din partea altor parteneri de dezvoltare și va deveni un catalizator pentru atragerea în Moldova a unor noi investiții străine. Guvernatorul BNM a amintit că majoritatea partenerilor de dezvoltare și donatorilor, inclusiv România, au așteptat acțiuni concrete de la autoritățile Moldovei și aprecierea acestora din partea FMI. Sergiu Cioclea a subliniat că anterior din lipsa unui acord cu FMI au fost sistate mai multe proiecte care prevedeau finanțarea bugetului și implementarea proiectelor investiționale. De aceea, aspectul financiar al relațiilor noastre cu FMI nu este cel mai important. Aprobarea noului program de finanțare va deveni un semnal pozitiv pentru partenerii de dezvoltare, donatori și investitorii din sectorul bancar, - a spus guvernatorul BNM. Amintim că autoritățile Moldovei și FMI au ajuns la o înțelegere privind semnarea unui nou program de reforme economice pe trei ani în valoare de circa 179 de milioane de dolari. Programul va fi finanțat prin intermediul Mecanismului de finanțare extinsă (EFF) și Mecanismul extins de creditare (ECF). Acordul privind noul program pentru Moldova urmează să fie aprobat la ședința Consiliului directorilor FMI în luna octombrie, în cazul în care autoritățile moldovenești vor implementa pachetul de măsuri prioritare.
