Priorităţile BERD în Moldova pentru următorii cinci ani

Conducerea Băncii Europene pentru Reconstrucție și Dezvoltare (BERD) a aprobat o nouă strategie pentru Republica Moldova, care va ghida activitatea politică și investițiile băncii în țara noastră în următorii cinci ani. Strategia aprobată pentru anii 2017-2022 stabilește următoarele priorități: RESTRUCTURAREA SECTORULUI BANCAR BERD, alături de Fondul Monetar Internațional, Uniunea Europeană și alți parteneri-cheie, va continua eforturile de reabilitare a sectorului bancar. Aceasta va continua să acorde băncilor partenere din Moldova împrumuturi pentru a pune la dispoziția întreprinderilor din Moldova fonduri. De asemenea, BERD va colabora cu investitori strategici puternici pentru a restabili transparența și guvernanța corporativă în acest sector. ÎMBUNĂTĂȚIREA SECURITĂȚII ENERGETICE BERD va finanța proiecte care promovează o mai mare interconectivitate internă și transfrontalieră în sectorul energetic. Aceasta va sprijini dezvoltarea infrastructurii pentru o piață angro de energie electrică și va finanța oportunități în sectorul energiilor regenerabile. Banca va desfășura, de asemenea, un dialog politic cuprinzător privind reformele din sectorul energetic. SPRIJINIREA FIRMELOR PRIVATE BERD va continua să acorde împrumuturi companiilor moldovenești, pentru a le ajuta să concureze pe piața UE. Aceasta va finanța în mod direct societățile cu modele de afaceri viabile, inclusiv investitorii străini orientați spre export care operează în zonele economice libere. ÎMBUNĂTĂȚIREA INFRASTRUCTURII BERD va continua să susțină dezvoltarea infrastructurii, inclusiv modernizarea drumurilor și a căilor ferate. Acesta va colabora cu autoritățile privind reforma tarifelor, achizițiile publice, practicile durabile, transparența, guvernanța și schemele publice-private. BERD va promova eficiența energetică în sectoarele public și rezidențial prin investiții directe și prin intermediul instituțiilor financiare partenere. „Accentul nostru este pus pe crearea unui sector financiar solid, transparent și modern, care să funcționeze pentru oamenii și companiile din Moldova ", a menționat Dimitri Gvindadze, șeful biroului BERD din Chișinău. BERD este principalul investitor în Moldova. Până în prezent, Banca a investit peste un mld. euro în diverse sectoare: infrastructură, energie, bancar, industrie, comerț și agricultură.
