Proiectul ce prevede o independență mai mare pentru bănci a fost votat

Băncile în mod independent își vor evalua și dezvolta procedurile și sistemele interne existente pentru a asigura adaptarea la riscurile activității desfășurate, iar Banca Națională va stabili criteriile și alte cerințe ce urmează a fi respectate de bănci în acest sens. Proiectul de lege a fost elaborat în vederea realizării recomandărilor experților, formulate în cadrul misiunii Fondului Monetar Internațional din 2014 cu privire la guvernarea corporativă în bănci, inclusiv calitatea sistemelor de control intern și a proceselor interne de management al riscurilor. Astfel, băncile urmează să-și evalueze și să-și dezvolte independent procedurile și sistemele interne existente și să stabilească cadrul normativ care să determine administrarea riscurilor în funcție de specificul fiecărei bănci. Modificările propuse au ca scop stabilirea unui cadru normativ care să determine administrarea riscurilor în funcție de specificul fiecărei bănci. Totodată, pentru ridicarea nivelului de transparență al acționariatului, proiectul prevede modificarea mecanismului din Legea instituțiilor financiare ce ține de vânzarea la bursa de valori a noilor acțiuni emise ca rezultat a celor anulate de către organul executiv. În acest sens, Banca Națională va obține permisiunea pentru achiziționarea sau subscrierea acțiunilor băncii asupra referitoare la vânzarea noilor acțiuni la bursa de valori. Proiectul de lege, propus de Guvern, a fost votat în lectură finală.
