Servicii ale sănătății ocupaționale

Republica Moldova se aliniază Convenției Organizației Internaționale a Muncii privind serviciile de sănătate ocupațională. În Monitorul Oficial din 2 aprilie curent fiind publicată Legea nr. 18 din 4 martie 2021 pentru ratificarea acestei Convenții, prin care fiecare stat recunoaşte relevanţa standardelor internaţionale în domeniul serviciilor de sănătate ocupaţională şi îşi asumă obligaţia de a formula, implementa şi revizui periodic o politică naţională coerentă în acest domeniu.
 
Potrivit Convenției, serviciile sănătății ocupaționale pot fi organizate ca un serviciu pentru fiecare întreprindere sau, după caz, ca un serviciu comun pentru un număr de întreprinderi. Acestea trebuie să posede o serie de funcții relevante și adaptate riscului specific întreprinderilor, cum ar fi identificarea și evaluarea riscurilor de sănătate la locul de muncă, supravegherea sănătății muncitorilor la locul de muncă, participarea la analiza accidentelor de muncă și bolilor profesionale, organizarea primului ajutor și a tratamentului de urgență, consilierea sănătății ocupaționale, securității, igienei, ergonomiei și echipamentului de protecție etc.
 
Convenția prevede că toți muncitorii urmează a fi informați despre pericolul sănătății existent la locul lor de muncă, iar serviciile sănătății ocupaționale vor fi informate de către angajator și muncitori despre factorii necunoscuți și oricare alți factori existenți în mediul de muncă care pot afecta sănătatea muncitorilor.
