Сланцевый газ в Молдове: запрещена добыча, но не разведка

Парламентская комиссия по экономике, бюджету и финансам высказалась против законопроекта, предусматривающего запрет на разведку и добычу сланцевого газа на территории Молдовы. Председатель комиссии Штефана Крянгэ сказал, что «запрет на добычу сланцевого газа может быть временным, пока не составлена карта месторождений, но нельзя лишать права на разведку, поскольку страна должна знать о своем энергетическом потенциале». Депутат Валериан Бежан считает, что законопроект направлен на сохранение энергетической зависимости Молдовы, поэтому не поддерживает этот документ. Авторы законодательной инициативы считают, что разработка сланцевых месторождений газа нанесет непоправимый ущерб экологии и сельскому хозяйству. Справка: В начале года правительство Молдовы подписало договор с американской компанией Frontera Resources International, согласно которому компания получает право на разведку месторождений углеводородов на юге республики на срок в 50 лет. Экс-министр окружающей среды Валериу Мунтяну говорил, что на первом этапе речь идет только о разведке месторождений, а добыча углеводородов может начаться только после специальных переговоров.
