SUA, pe locul şase după volumul de investiţii în Moldova

Extinderea relațiilor comercial-economice dintre Republica Moldova și Statele Unite ale Americii, precum și alte subiecte de interes comun au fost discutate de viceministrul Economiei și Infrastructurii, Vitalie Iurcu, în cadrul întrevederii cu adjunctul asistentului secretarului Trezoreriei SUA pentru Europa şi Eurasia, Elizabeth “Clay” Berry. În cadrul dialogului, viceministrul Economiei și Infrastructurii a menționat că dezvoltarea relațiilor bilaterale cu SUA constituie una din prioritățile Guvernului Republicii Moldova, autoritățile moldovenești fiind interesate de realizarea mai multor proiecte investiționale în țara noastră cu participarea activă a companiilor americane. În context, Vitalie Iurcu a a oferit o informație mai amplă cu privire la programul de reforme economice implementat, precum și prioritățile pentru următoarea perioadă. Totodată, a fost prezentat climatul investițional și regimurile comerciale ale Republicii Moldova, particularitățile sectorului energetic, potențialul în domeniul tehnologiilor informaționale, precum și oportunitățile oferite de parcurile IT din țară. La rândul său, Elizabeth “Clay” Berry a reiterat interesul Statelor Unite ale Americii de a impulsiona cooperarea comercial-economică bilaterală, accentuând importanța Comisiei mixte de cooperare comercial-economică, care este o platformă foarte bună pentru atingerea obiectivelor trasate. În context, Vitalie Iurcu și Elizabeth “Clay” Berry au convenit asupra organizării, în perioada 5-6 octombrie curent, la Chișinău, a ședinței Comisiei mixte de cooperare comercial-economică Republica Moldova-SUA. Volumul comerțului exterior al Republicii Moldova cu Statele Unite ale Americii, în perioada ianuarie-iunie 2017, a înregistrat suma de circa $48,05 mil., cu 21,11% mai mult, comparativ cu perioada similară a anului trecut. Conform datelor Camerei Înregistrării de Stat, în Republica Moldova își desfășoară activitatea 379 întreprinderi cu capital american, valoarea investițiilor în capitalul social fiind de circa 544 mil. lei. După valoarea capitalului investit, SUA se află pe locul şase printre țările partenere ale Republicii Moldova.
