Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze AG investeşte în Republica Moldova

O companie de talie mondială investeşte în Republica Moldova. Este vorba despre Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze AG (SEBN), care a deschis o companie-fiică în RM – SE Bordnetze SRL. Proiectul presupune construcţia unei fabrici destinate producerii de cablaj pentru industria auto. Directorul financiar al SE Bordnetze SRL, Igor Corman, a declarat în cadrul unei conferinţe de presă că proiectul SEBN este unul dintre cele mai importante în proces de implementare la momentul actual în Moldova şi va aduce beneficii importante atât pentru investitor, cât şi pentru regiunea centrală a ţării. Potrivit lui Igor Corman, decizia privind extinderea activităţilor în RM a fost luată de către conducerea SEBN anul trecut. Din luna decembrie 2015 până în prezent, SE Bordnetze SRL a făcut toate studiile necesare şi a pregătit dosarul pentru deschiderea unei fabrici în raionul Orhei. În luna iunie 2016, a fost arendată o hală cu suprafaţa de 2,6 mii de metri pătraţi, unde a fost începută montarea şi asamblarea modulelor în cadrul unui proiect al SEBN România. Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze AG este un producător de top de cablaj pentru industria auto mondială şi are în prezent mai mult de 31 de mii de angajaţi în 28 de unităţi din 15 ţări. SEBN AG este membru al Sumitomo Electric Industries Group, care include 389 de companii în mai mult de 40 de ţări din întreaga lume. Numărul total de angajaţi ai acesteia depăşeşte 240 de mii de oameni. Directorul general al SEBN, Kenichi Urushibata, a menţionat la Chişinău că compania sa şi-a început activitatea cu o mie de angajaţi. „Noi suntem principalul furnizor de astfel de cablaje şi deţinem o marjă de 40% din întreaga piaţă”, a declarat Kenichi Urushibata. Referitor la uzina care urmează să fie deschisă la Orhei, directorul a menţionat că aceasta trebuie să fie la fel de bună ca şi celelalte din reţea. Proiectul investiţional este implementat în cadrul subzonei Zonei Economice Libere „Bălţi”, situată în oraşul Orhei, şi presupune construcţia unei fabrici cu suprafaţa de 27 de mii de metri pătraţi.
