Un Hub pentru susţinerea businessului IT a fost lansat la Chişinău

Primul Centru iHub menit să conecteze sectorul IT cu potenţiali investitori din ţară şi de peste hotare a fost deschis ieri, 28 septembrie, la Chişinău. Proiectul a fost realizat cu susţinerea Guvernului Norvegiei, Agenţiei SUA pentru Dezvoltare Internaţională (USAID) și a Universităţii Tehnice din Moldova. Acest Hub își propune să reunească oameni, resurse, experiențe și conținuturile potrivite pentru a susține inovația și afacerile în domeniul IT. Spațiul va impulsiona colaborarea și cultura de comunitate, susținînd dezvoltarea unor produse viabile create de către antreprenorii IT. Sectorul IT a fost identificat printre cele şapte avantaje competitive ale R. Moldova şi trebuie găsite toate modalităţile pentru a-l dezvolta. Intenţionăm să includem iHub-urile în Incubatoarele de afaceri din ţară, cel puţin în cel care urmează să fie lansat în prima jumătate a anului 2017, la Cahul, va fi deschis un Hub de acest fel, a menţionat la ceremonia de inaugurare Vitalie Iurcu, viceministru al Economiei. La rîndul său, viceministrul Tehnologiei Informaţiei şi Comunicaţiilor, Vitalie Tarlev, a subliniat că iHub-ul inaugurat în capitală este încă o cărămidă adăugată pentru suportul societăţii informaţionale din Moldova. Realizînd asemenea iniţiative, ţara noastră are şanse să devină un stat modern şi dezvoltat, a accentuat Tarlev. Hubul de la Chişinău are o suprafață de 400 metri pătraţi și va găzdui startuperi și liberi profesioniști în domeniul IT. Rezidenții vor beneficia de spații de lucru adaptate tendințelor, necesităților și resurselor. Prin intermediul iHUB ei vor avea posibilitatea să se conecteze la rețele locale și internaționale de investitori, să întîlnească potențiali parteneri, să acceseze evenimente antreprenoriale, să profite de programe utile și de un transfer efectiv de know-how. iHUB-ul este creat cu suportul Guvernului Regatului Norvegiei în cadrul unui parteneriat public-privat între Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei și Centrul de Excelență în domeniul TIC – TEKWILL, finanțat din surse USAID, avînd drept scop dezvoltarea comunității IT în Republica Moldova și susținerea ideilor și startupurilor.
