Un nou aeroport de pasageri ar putea fi deschis la Bălți

Ministerul Transporturilor își propune ca până la sfârșitul anului să demareze studiul de prefezabilitate privind reabilitarea Aeroportului Internațional Bălți-Ledoveni. Despre aceasta a anunțat ministrul transporturilor și infrastructurii drumurilor, Iurie Chirinciuc, în cadrul raportului său de activitate. Potrivit acestuia, aeroportul trebuie să devină un al doilea aeroport național de pasageri. Aceste și alte reforme pe care ni le propunem vor avea ca finalitate prețuri mai mici pentru servicii de transport aerian sigure și de o calitate înaltă, - se menționează în raport. Anterior presa scria că și acest aeroport ar putea fi dat în concesiune pe un termen de 49 de ani, iar mai mulți investitori s-ar arăta dispuși să facă investiții. Pentru reabilitarea acestuia ar fi nevoie de aproximativ 30 mil. lei la o primă etapă. Aeroportul Bălți-Ledoveni este situat la 15 km de orașul Bălți.
