USAID lansează proiectul de granturi pentru apicultori

Proiectul USAID Agricultura Performantă în Moldova (APM) demarează programul de granturi pentru sectorul agricol prin lansarea primului apel de solicitări destinate producătorilor și exportatorilor de miere.Primele granturi vor fi acordate pentru procurarea unor recipiente uniformizate utilizate la colectarea mierii destinate procesării și comercializării pe piața internă sau cea externă. Ulterior, proiectul va extinde apelul de granturi și pentru alte activități care vizează produsele agricole cu valoare înaltă cum ar fi fructele, pomușoarele sau legumele cultivate în sere sau câmp deschis. Actualmente în Republica Moldova, anual, sunt colectate circa 4 mii tone de miere, inclusiv miere de mai, miere de salcâm, miere de tei și miere din flori. Exporturile de miere din Republica Moldova au crescut de 12 ori în ultimii 10 ani - de la 245 tone în 2006 la 3 160 tone în 2016. Exportul de miere pe piața Uniunii Europene are perspective în situația în care producția internă de miere în Uniunea Europeană (UE) acoperă doar 60% din consum. În același timp, pentru a spori accesul pe piața UE, producătorii și exportatorii moldoveni trebuie să respecte standardele UE, iar o constrângere semnificativă în ceea ce privește respectarea standardelor pentru exportatorii de miere din Moldova este utilizarea recipientelor/vaselor nestandardizate pentru transportarea mierii de la producător către exportatori sau pe piață. În prezent mierea este colectată, de regulă, în găleți de calitate inferioară, cutii de aluminiu și alte vase nestandarde din plastic, care afectează calitatea produsului final. Proiectul USAID APM consideră că fondurile oferite vor încuraja apicultorii și exportatorii de miere să utilizeze pentru colectarea mierii vase uniforme care vor îmbunătăți condițiile de igienă la depozitarea, transportarea, colectarea și ambalarea mierii. În cadrul acestui apel vor fi acordate granturi între 250 mii şi 400 mii lei. Totodată, solicitantul trebuie să contribuie cu un minim de 40% din suma totală a grantului pretins de la Proiectul USAID APM. Aplicațiile pot fi depuse până pe data de 22 iunie 2017.
