Au nevoie sau nu moldovenii de carduri bancare?

Moldovenii continuă să utilizeze mai mult cardurile bancare în scopul retragerilor de numerar, decât pentru a efectua plăţi fără numerar, se arată într-un comunicat de presă emis de BNM. Astfel, pe parcursul anului 2014, operaţiunille cu carduri emise și efectuate în Republica Moldova au fost în valoare totală de circa 26 milioane 500 mii lei, dintre care tocmai 25 milioane 032 mii lei au fost pentru retrageri de numerar și doar 1 milion 488 mii pentru plăţi fără numerar. În comunicatul de presă al BNM se mai arată că pe parcursul anului 2014, 1,302,225 de carduri au fost puse în circulație, cu 13,1% mai multe față de sfârșitul anului 2013. Numărul de operațiuni efectuate în țară a depășit 23,7 milioane, 80,5% fiind retrageri de numerar și 19,5% plăți fără numerar. Totodată, moldovenii utilizează pe larg cardurile emise în Republica Moldova pentru operațiunile din străinătate. Pe parcursul anului 2014 valoarea totală a acestor operațiuni a fost aproape de 2,462 mii de lei. Datele BNM mai arată că în țara sunt active 12 679 de dispozitive speciale pentru a efectua operațiuni cu carduri, dintre care sunt active 11,541 de terminale POS și doar 1,082 de bancomate.
