Аргентина дефолт не признает

Технический дефолт при наличии денег – в таком парадоксальном положении оказалась Аргентина. Дефолт третьей по величине экономики Южной Америки по долгу в 1,3 млрд долларов возник в результате предыдущего банкротства 13-летней давности. Тогда держатели 93% аргентинских облигаций согласились на списание с большим дисконтом, но остальные бонды скупили хедж-фонды, предъявили их к оплате через суд и выиграли его. Более того, по решению суда Нью-Йорка Аргентина не может выплачивать долги другим кредиторам, пока не рассчитается с хедж-фондами. До полуночи среды Аргентина пыталась добиться отсрочки. Не вышло: вердикт вступил в силу. Буэнос-Айрес отказался признавать дефолт. Министр экономики Аксель Кисилеф заявил после провала переговоров в Нью-Йорке: “Аргентина исправно платила, у нее есть деньги, и мы готовы продолжать, потому что мы этого хотим, потому что мы в состоянии делать это. И вот кто-то приходит и говорит, что мы не имеем права платить из-за судебного запрета. Ответственность за это решение мы возлагаем на судью Томаса Гриезу”. Аргентина могла бы заплатить долг, но боится прецедента – другие кредиторы могут потребовать того же самого. Золотовалютных резервов, которые сегодня оцениваются в 29 млрд долларов, на всех не хватит, ведь аргентинским властям приходится тратить доллары еще и на поддержку курса национальной валюты, и на борьбу с инфляцией, которая официально составляет 12%, а неофициально – около 35%. Тем временем агентство Standard & Poor’s опустило суверенный рейтинг Аргентины до SD, что означает “выборочный дефолт”. Теперь, если комитет Международной ассоциации свопов установит кредитное событие, держатели свопов – страховки от аргентинского дефолта – потребуют выплат. Via | ru.euronews.com
