Авиакомпании хотят изменить допустимые размеры ручной клади

Международная ассоциация воздушного транспорта предложила уменьшить размеры ручной клади, которую пассажиры могут брать с собой на борт самолета. Эксперты организации совместно с авиастроительными концернами Boeing и Airbus разработали оптимальный стандарт — 55 см х 35 см х 20 см (с учетом колес). Такие размеры позволят поместить сумку или чемодан на полках над пассажирскими сидениями во всех самолетах вместимостью от 120 кресел — от Boeing-737 до A380. Это меньше принятых у большинства перевозчиков норм и многие крупные авиакомпании уже согласились присоединиться к инициативе. Среди них Emirates, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, China Eastern и China Southern. Должен существовать единый размер сумки, которую пассажир может купить и быть уверенным, что ее можно взять с собой в кабину, — заявил старший вице-президент IATA по вопросам аэропортов, пассажиров, грузов и безопасности Томас Виндмюллер. Он подчеркнул, что данная инициатива носит лишь рекомендательный характер. Однако ручная кладь, отвечающая нормативам ассоциации, будет маркироваться производителями как "IATA Cabin OK". Это существенно ускорит процесс посадки — сотрудникам авиакомпании не придется проверять, войдет данный чемодан на полку или нет. IATA представляет 260 авиакомпаний по всему миру, на долю которых приходится 83% глобальных авиаперевозок.
