Безработица в Великобритании обновила минимум за 11 лет

Безработица в Великобритании продолжила снижение после июньского референдума о выходе страны из Европейского союза и в третьем квартале 2016 года обновила минимум с 2005 года, свидетельствуют данные Национального статистического управления (ONS) страны. Показатель снизился в июле-сентябре до 4,8% с 4,9% во втором квартале. Однако ONS отмечает признаки замедления роста на рынке труда на фоне Brexit. В частности, в третьем квартале в экономике Великобритании было создано 49 тыс. рабочих мест по сравнению со 172 тыс. в апреле-июне. Безработица находится на самом низком уровне более чем за 10 лет, а уровень занятости остается рекордно высоким, - заявил эксперт ONS Дэвид Фримен. - Тем не менее, есть признаки охлаждения рынка труда, замедления роста занятости». Тем временем, темпы роста зарплат (без учета бонусов) в стране за этот период ускорились до 2,4% с 2,3% в апреле-июне. Однако реальное повышение зарплат составило всего 1,7% из-за усиливающейся инфляции и было самым медленным с начала 2015 года. Количество безработных в Великобритании сократилось в третьем квартале на 37 тыс. - до 1,6 млн человек. Вместе с тем число обращений за пособием по безработице в октябре продолжило увеличиваться третий месяц подряд - на 9,8 тыс. после 5,6 тыс. в сентябре.
