Британские клиенты стали чаще выигрывать споры с банками

Клиенты банков в Великобритании все чаще жалуются на обслуживание, а также чаще выходят победителями после рассмотрения претензий, свидетельствуют данные главного финансового регулятора страны - Управления по контролю за соблюдением норм поведения на финансовых рынках (Financial Conduct Authority, FCA). Как сообщает агентство Bloomberg, во второй половине 2014 года число клиентских претензий к банкам увеличилось на 1% по сравнению с первым полугодием, до 2,2 млн, если не считать долгосрочные разбирательства в связи с нарушениями в продаже страховки по кредитам (PPI), пик которых приходился на январь-июнь. С учетом таких разбирательств число претензий снизилось на 7%, при этом сокращение наблюдалось для всех банков из первой пятерки, кроме HSBC, претензии к которому подскочили на 16% - до 152,15 тысячи. По данным FCA, клиенты выигрывали споры с банками в 60% случаев, что является самым высоким значением показателя за последние пять лет. За весь период разбирательств по PPI британские банки выплатили потребителям в общей сложности 18 млрд фунтов стерлингов ($26,7 млрд) в связи с нарушениями при продаже страховки по кредитам.
